Pluto, until recent years was considered a planet of what comprised our solar system. But now, after much speculation by some scientists, Pluto is not classified as a planet like others such as the Sun or Mercury, but is known as a Dwarf planet. There are a few bodies in the outer world that have been categorized as dwarf planets because they are different in what makes up the mass, even thought they might be shaped as other planets. This was the reason why Pluto was withdrawn from the list of planets. A few years back, there was a study after which scientists came to the conclusion of the requirements of a planet, in which Pluto failed to fall into.
