Hastingsmosque.org is an information website, where visitors can access a wealth of information about Islam and the daily life of practising Muslims.
There are videos, articles, images and forums to help users get answers to questions that they have about the religion and the lifestyle of a Muslim.
There are Weekly Khutbas ( religious teachings) by Imam Ismael, posted every Friday and throughout the year we hope also to be able to offer a number of speakers on subjects as wide reaching as the wearing of the hijab to stories of the Sahaba to detailed matters of the fiqh.
Users will be shown the details of the restoration project that is presently taking place at our mosque and are invited to be part of our vision for a brighter future by donating to the Hastingsmosque appeal.
Our vision is clear; to restore our Mosque (an old Victorian school ) and establish a greater level of service to both umma and the wider non Muslim community through educational programs and local events throughout the calender year.
