Philip Marcel Photography
History- Philip Marcel, a Baltimore, Maryland native and Norfolk State University alumni, first discovered his love for photography while taking photojournalism classes that were within his mass communications and journalism curriculum." After that first class he took his 35mm Ricoh and just kept shooting and bugging his instructor to critique his work and let him have free reign of the darkroom." Permission was granted and Philip had begun to nurture his strong passion for photography.
Ironically, both of his grandfathers were photographers. One,a military photographer, and the other an enthusiastic hobbyist.
Circa 2002, With the help and advice of key mentors and friends, Philip Marcel decided to make photography his profession.
DEVELOPMENT-When he began, Philip was primarily hired to do shoots in Hampton Roads, Virginia area. As time passed he, has found himself traveling all over. Philip has worked hard to bring his clients more than just pictures. He strives to always go the extra step in services and in performance. This style has left him with happy clients, as he provides them with high quality images for both commercial and private use.
Services and performance must be perfect for his clients and his own artistic expression. He holds tightly to the technical teachings and artistic influences of mentors and friends; mainly Ryan "Ra Rah" Stevenson, Tobechi Tobechukwu, Claes Gabriel, Glen McClure, and Bob Lerner.
TODAY-As time has passed, Philip Marcel has seen steady growth while continuing to provide images for clients with needs that range from commercial and private portraiture, and events. Philip has added cinematographer to his resume as he has been apart of developing film projects for Multifaceted Entertainment.

Ronny van Dedem | portraits and sculptures | home
The Dutch artist Ronny van Dedem spent many years in Africa, Singapore and Austria during which she painted portraits in oil and completed a sculpture course in Vienna. She currently lives in the UK where she works in pastels, oil and bronze. Her subject matter is varied and has evolved over the years. Portraiture particularly inspires Ronny. She captures the tender expression of children and because she is also fond of animals has painted engaging portraits of dogs. Ronny can make an exact copy of any painting you like, particularly old family portraits, and has fulfilled many commissions successfully.
