TIPS & TRICKS
Dress in solid, flattering colors. Solid colors, as opposed to prints, photograph best.
During full photo sessions, we can allow time for wardrobe changes. If you desire, please feel free to bring different outfits.
I'm very happy to schedule a time of day that works best for your family, ensuring everyone is at their best during the shoot. When photographing children, I will never make them do something they aren't willing to. I work with their personality and allow that to come through on camera. I don't give orders to little ones, but rather encourage natural poses created in a relaxed atmosphere achieved through games and songs. My aim with each session is to allow the child's personality and spirit to be captured. The best lifestyle portraits are attained in a peaceful and fun environment.
Have fun! Sure, we'll do some posed photos, but we'll do more of the playful, personality revealing shots. If there are any specific poses you want, please bring a list of these to your photo session.
My goal is to capture each family's happiest spirit, best attained in a fun, relaxing situation. So relax, and have fun! You'll be pleased with the photographs, and will have an enjoyable time.
