Schooled in the Visual Arts and trained as a Photojournalist with a daily newspaper, our president thrives on opportunities to document life experiences. The fast pace of news photography translates nicely into assignments in a freelance business. We seek to work with our clients to meet their needs and requests as efficiently as possible. When appropriate, sharing with them our professional experience and thoughtful suggestions could make the difference between a good photograph and a great one. All this in an effort to provide the service and attention we feel our customers deserve.
Company Profile
OdellPhotos has been providing professional photographic services to the Baltimore, Annapolis, and Metropolitan D.C. area since 1986. Making customer service a priority, we take the time to get to know our clients and their needs. The president of OdellPhotos, Mark Odell, received his Bachelor of Arts degree through the University of Maryland with an emphasis in Visual Arts. He is a photojournalist by trade with fourteen years of experience with a daily newspaper before moving on to serve as the state photographer working directly for the Governor of Maryland, in his press office. Working in the News industry gives us the knowledge and understanding of all of the latest technology in the field. We have a full understanding of digital processing as well as traditional printmaking. We use only the best equipment and lab facilities available. The employees at OdellPhotos pride themselves on the quality of their relationship with the customer as well as the quality of their product. A Photograph should tell a story, evoke emotions and engage the viewer; anything else is merely a snapshot.
