Our home is a beautiful Tinos, Greece. It's the third largest Cycladic Island, situated between Andros and Mykonos. It is famous most of all with the church of Our Lady Annunciate witch attracts thousands of pilgrims every year on 15th August.
Tinos has kept a magnificent nature and holds a special atmosphere of romance and peace. While travelling through countryside you cant overcome the feeling of going back in time. The landscape is dotted with clusters of white villages, churches and dovecotes, all accessed by excellent paved roads. You will enjoy fields of wild flowers, small sandy or pebbled beaches, only for you or mountains for climbing. The crystal waters of Aegean Sea are worm from May until October.
Tinos is a target for pilgrims from the entire world. One of the most important temples for Orthodox Christianity, The church of The Lady of The Annunciation and the miracle-working icon of Virgin Mary attracts thousands of people on 15 th of august every year. This holly spirit you can find everywhere on the island. Over 1000 churches and chapels have sprung up in even the most remote spots, on mountainside, along shores and on the island whip-whipped peaks.
La Casa villas and rooms are located to the picturesque seaside Ag.Ioannis Porto, only a 200m from the beach and a few minutes from the centre of Tinos town.
