Kero PPX was established in 1983 with the object of developing the fur and leather trade, and to function as a complementary space for the Andean llama, alpaca and sheep farmers. Our industrial processing center completes an uninterrupted line of viable utilization of their resources.
After a difficult beginning and thanks to constant investigation, we have gained experience that has enabled us to obtain high-quality leather goods, not only from the camelid animals, goats and sheep, but also from species of an exotic nature, such as the ostrich and the peccary. We take in all the production processes, from the classification and purchase of skins through to the delicate making up of garments.
In July 2005, Kero PPX merged with Colca APX, another Grupo Inca member devoted to the marketing of natural dyes, so Kero is now also involved in that line of business.
