Joe Primo is a resident of Hightstown, NJ, and a native of Massachusetts. He received his BA in archaeology from Stonehill College and an MDiv with a concentration in end-of-life care from Yale University. Primo looks at nature in a new way and things as they naturally are, not masked by the ways we wish they would be.
In his work, Primo pays close attention to the mundane, capturing and repurposing everyday objects to portray their ordinary aspects and oversights. He particularly enjoys photographing people living their daily lives.
Currently, Primo is the Center Director at Good Grief, the nation's fastest growing children's grief center. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Grieving Children.
