Welcome to NSP Studio, Opelika Alabama.
Who am I? Well, I'm a glamouristicly fashion and artistically twisted studio photographer in O'pelica Alabam. I’m also father, loving husband, a commercial ceo (it’s not nearly as glamorous as it sounds, just longer hours), and resourceful image critic. Not to mention, a fun, fun sci-fi, fashion, b-movie and 80's punk band freak but here it's all about the image. I’m either hated for the opis thing or loved for the twisted glamour, I’m never quite sure.
Where is NSP Studio? In Beautiful Historically Renovating Downtown Opelika, Alabama. Upstairs, 107 South 9th Street, directly across the 9th street side of the Irish Bred Pub and next to the Iron Frog. That's right, an Iron frog and not the ribbit ribbit type. What is an iron frog? It's a small park sitting area with the original railroad crossing track monumented with a historical marker which once joined the tracks running north, south, east and west. That's what sprung this town in the late 1800's. The railroad. The trains still run through as before, just the train station is now the Historical/Mainstreet associations and Arts Council. Restored very nicely as well as most of our downtown district.
My Studio. What can we do? That is, what style of photography can we create?
Well, my career started in a catalog advertising studio in downtown Atl. I photographed catalog products, restaurant dishes, chefs, politicians and fashion for a multitude of publications and agency’s. We traveled the southeast bringing our own studio to create setups wherever we needed and captured/reproduced everything in large format films.
Today, everything is created digitally, as we joined the 21st century "evolution" of modern photography. No more long nights in the dark room developing, burning, dodging, and retouching images for publication. Now it’s the same long nights, developing, burning, dodging, and retouching images digitally.
Everything still receives the same personal care to create the finest image with the most reproductive quality possible. We don’t cut corners! Quality and Professionalism is #1

My personal note, everything you see here was created, photographed and copywritten by me to protect myself and the others from cannibalistic harm. Images created here are used to promote ourselves as creative artist… no funny business.
