Dr. Sumit Anand (MD) is an experienced, board-certified psychiatrist who practices in McLean, Virginia and Washington DC. He has over 17 years of clinical experience, having trained and worked in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
He sees patients ages 12 and up for psychiatric and psychological issues, including all major psychiatric disorders, as well as relational/family problems. He is experienced in individual and family therapy, as well as in the medical treatment of all major psychiatric disorders.
Although he does not take insurance, he accepts all credit/debit cards in a simple, fee-for service arrangement. He is also very willing to provide appropriate documentation to help those patients who wish to seek reimbursement from their own insurance network.
Evening and weekend appts available. Accepting new patients at this time.
