Gabor Ekes | Motion Graphics
Gabor Ekes is a digital artist specialising in motion graphics, web design, graphic design and interactives. This year Gabor has been working on audio visual projects for The British Museum, The Museum of London and E2V as a lead motion graphic designer. Gabor aims to work beyond the demands of any creative brief, providing the client with more than one solution, he has an undoubted ability to adapt and work across a variety of digital mediums to deliver projects with an exciting and engaging outcome. Also this year, Gabor has been part of taught motion design direction sessions at Chelsea College of Art & Design, providing students with an insight to the world of design theory and practice. Looking to the future he endeavors to practice in experimental environments amongst forward thinking people, to share thoughts, ideas and concepts, pushing the boundaries of creativity.

06.21.08 Lara & Chris Kadera. Lara and Chris met on Marquette's campus. Chris was a serious water skiier and Lara was a serious student, but together, they always balanced each other out. She pushing him to study...he pushing her to enjoy life and all that it has to offer. I was so grateful to be able to shoot their wedding this past saturday and what an amazing day it was! The morning seemed like it was going to rain with no end in sight, but then..without warning..the rain stopped and the skies opened up for a beautiful and wonderous day..almost as if God had planned it that way. Anyways, thank you again to the both of you for letting me be a part of such a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing great news from you guys in the future! 06.17.08 I am sooooo behind on blogging! It's just been so busy...yeah...like that is a valid excuse. Anyways, with wedding season in full swing, I have weddings nearly every weekend....some even twice a weeeknd. but I am having a blast with it. All that dancing, love is in the air, tears of joy...you just can't beat that. Here's one from a wedding I did last weekend. I love it because you can see the shadows and the rays of the sun shining down. susan and Mark were an awesome couple that have that special ingredient. Thanks you two for letting me be a part of your special day. Congrats! 05.22.08 Montserrat is a beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat about one hour north by train and cable car. Started in 880 the site is best known for the black faced virgin mary statue. 05.16.08 La boqueria is an outdoor food market that has the most fascinating stuff. From fresh fruits vegetables, to the eyes and heart of a lamb. This place has it all. I think the most amazing thing was just how clean everything was. I got back to China often and an outdoor market there is not what it is in Spain. Here we saw fresh tuna and fish. Yumm... Overall, I think, our most favorite experience was the fresh fruit smoothies. I know..not all that imaginative, but imagine all the freshest fruits dumped into a drink! I liked coconut Kiwi. Sounds awful, but tastes heavenly. 05.06.08 My first year anniversary trip - I apologize for being M.I.A. for so long, but itâs been a long, wacky, and busy winter. Butfear not! For summer will soon be upon us! Wedding season is about to hit into full gear,Iâve already had my first wedding of the year in the beautiful Tybee Beach located in thesunny Savannah, GA area. While a beautiful experience, I want to blog about my recent trip to Spain for my first yearanniversary! YEP..this was an amazing experience and an opportunity for my wife and I toreally reflect on the entire year of marriage....AN ENTIRE YEAR HAS PASSED...time really flies. Anyways, I want to start a series that will highlight some of the experiences and sights thatwe saw. From the food markets to the architecture and historical structures, Spain reallyhas it all. Our trip took us from Barcelona, to Sevilla, and finally to Granada where we saw the indescribable Alhambra palace. But I have to say, for me, the highlight of the trip has to be the unfinished La Sagrada Familia designed by arguably the most famous and brilliantarchitect, Antoni Gaudi. It has been worked on since the mid-1800âs and is still notcompleted. The projected complete date isnât even until 2017! Hereâs a picture from thetour bus...my pictures wonât do justice to this amazing structure, but hopefully itâll driveyou to want to visit and see for yourself!
