I have enjoyed the photographic process since early childhood. In grade school, I was already setting up photo shoots for Barbie, Ken and my brother's GI Joe doll. I still have some of those old snapshots - taken with a Brownie camera! At girl scout camp, I began experimenting with night photography. In high school, I fell in love with the smell of fixer and the magic of the darkroom. When I got to college, I would sneak into the art department late at night so I could have the darkroom all to myself.
For many years, most of my images were printed in a home darkroom, but like most photographers, I now shoot with a digital camera, edit in Photoshop, and do my home printing on an Epson injet printer.
Occasionally I will revive older images from my collection - scanning and editing them to give them new life. Some of these will wind up on this site too!
Regardless of capture technique, all images posted on this website begin as my own original photographs.
Although I have gone through several evolutions of digital camera bodies, these days I shoot primarily with the full frame, 24 megapixel, Sony Alpha 900, and use an Alpha 700 as backup. When traveling light, I shoot with a Canon G10, and an old Olympus C-7000 as backup. A tiny waterproof Olympus goes with me to the beach and in the kayak.
I hope that you will enjoy wandering through my photos. Creating images with texture, abstract designs, and geometric patterns is a passion of mine. Candid portraits are another favorite subject.
My current schedule is flexible enough to incorporate individualized specialty photograhic projects. Please contact me for rates and further information.

For custom printing orders on specialty paper, signed prints, and/or special requests (notecards, collages, etc), please contact me directly. A limited selection of the posted images are also available in larger file sizes for much larger prints. (advance notice required)
