Jean-Yves Terreault was born in Montreal, Canada and currently resides in Osaka, Japan. While he has been interested in photography for a number of years, recording his travels and life events, he then became more serious about taking and creating pictures. Well, as serious as his outgoing outlook allowed. While used to getting the most out of natural lighting, his recent work has explored the nigh infinite possibilities of modified and artificial lighting.
He has covered multiple events (art and traditional festivals, concerts, sports), and his work has been featured in numerous Japanese-based paper and online publications.
