Welcome to the paintings of Linda Henningson, abstract artist with a committed full-time practice living on Texada Island, BC, Canada. Process involves additive and reductive techniques to create imaginary spaces with hints of representation including flower motifs and reference to landscape. Working intuitively between chance and intent images reveal remnants of previous layers. Fragments of initial stages appear and disappear with emphasis on color, composition and texture.
