Lakewell develops, manufactures and markets premium quality interior parts for classic cars. Our mission is to match the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications in all our parts.
We manufacture complete interior restoration kits for classic Jaguar and Porsche models from the 50s to the late 90s. We also cater for classic Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, TVR and several other of the world’s great classic cars.
We go great lengths to source the correct raw materials. For classic Porsches we remanufacture some of the original hard to find materials such as ‘Sliver knit' carpet. For Mercedes and BMW models we carry the fine tufted velours, loop pile and even some New Old Stock ‘Square weave' pile carpets.
We have researched original cutting, sewing, pressing and molding procedures to ensure factory authentic craftsmanship. We have a passion for efficiency and lean make-to-order manufacturing. We challenge everything we do on the direct value it adds to our products and customers. This is the foundation on which we provide the best price quality offer in the market.
Lakewell also restores classic car interiors to the highest standard. After an initial focus on ground up restoration, we have specialized in interior restoration in the late 90s. We are convinced specialization is the key to perfection at an acceptable cost. We apply the highest standards of contemporary craftsmanship. While we are committed to authenticity, we also make sure modern materials are used where it improves the functionality and durability of your interior, without compromising its original appearance.
