Luis Sanchez, Artist. Mexico born, Los Angeles-based painter Luis Sanchez is a beguiling and animated interpreter of the figurative mode who incorporates techniques of the past such as dry pigments and a fresco-like media to his canvases. He works in figurative and abstract paintings, and sculpture, colliding humanity with decaying walls of the urban world in a juxtaposition of color, texture and dimension. Sanchez paintings are grim and sublime, realistic and idealistic. The result is a profound statement of light and dark, life and death, and the role we play in it. His two-dimensional works are often noted for his masterful use of trompe loeil, leaving viewers with the impression that he has used photography, collage or other techniques when he has only used a brush. His works seamlessly combine the old and new, and have an uncanny way of mixing architecture with the human form.

Team Dirty Sanchez
Team Dirty Sanchez is is a member driven skydive organization. TDS was founded by four friends in Titusville, FL who share a passion for skydiving and the lasting friendships it creates. Little did we know how popular the team would become and the amount of new friends who would join us in our passion. Several years have passed since the team was founded, and over 400 new members have signed on from all over the world.
Team Dirty Sanchez has made a name for themselves with the boogies and events that they organize. Not just for the amount of entertainment provided, but by also trying to give back, and help the community where it can.
Team Dirty Sanchez’s first official charity event was in April of 2005, for one of our members was severely injured in a tandem skydiving accident earlier that year. Since the first charity event, TDS has continued to raise money at our events and boogies to help fellow skydivers who has been injured, as well as local charities in the surrounding communities.
