Real Time Satellite Images
The meaning of the word Satellite is in fact as old as space itself. The etymology of the word Satellite actually derives from a combination of the word 'Saturn'', which is planet Saturn, and the word light, a bit altered. As Saturn in mythology was bringing light to sky, and son of Zeus (=Dios=Ancient Greek God), some old words have remained as such, as they are identified to ancient, constant and unchangeable meanings, the content of which has remained the same over years, and only their reference point has been a bit changing. So, as Saturn was bringing light to the sky, as a planet, part of space. Satellite, is a means of contact with space, bringing together in contact two different points. Satellite in second place, means also from another etymology point of view, 'satis lux=satisfying, thus enough light..
