Maron Pictures was set up by International Award Winning Screenwriter, Mark Mahon.
Mark originally trained as an actor with L.A.M.D.A. (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). Through personal circumstances,
his acting career was put on hold and he started writing to stay involved with his first love, movies. He recently received his
Directors Diploma from the Raindance Organization in London. Now with offices in Los Angeles and Ireland,
Maron Pictures plan is to create quality, thought provoking films. Strength and Honor will be Maron Pictures first project.
Scheduled to shoot in September 2006, it will be filmed in Cork, Ireland on 35mm.Our goal is to create strong character driven
stories that touch people on an emotional level.We currently have five projects at different stage of development: Strength and Honor
