John's Creative & Books (johnscb.com) has been selling books on-line since the Fall of 2002. Johnscb.com is a development of the desire to have a combined retail web site for art & design projects of John Owens along with John's used book sales.
In regards to background, John has a M.F.A. in studio art and a B.S. in Arts Management, visual art emphasis and has taught classes in web design, visual communication (on-line) as well as served as a technical resource for university faculty working on web-based projects.
This web site is artist run. It is part blog and part business. Its purpose is to deliver high quality art and books to interested people. The funds generated by used books sales are used for the capitalization of John's art studio and related art projects as well as provide a means to discover interesting art and design books. A sincere thanks to those individuals who have purchased art and books thereby funding John's endeavors.
