Mastic Sealant
It was one of the Independence Day celebrations in the school and the entire school was being renovated and hence the flag pole was removed from the original place and installed in a new location. The new flag pole was just installed two days before the function and there were a lot of gaps in the cement area holding the flag pole and there was a round small circle formed between the flag pole and the cement structure and the pole was shaking in the wind and the hole started deepening. The school administration was worried about thins and only two days was left for the function and if the pole starts shaking then when flag gets hoisted, there is a high chance of the flag pole falling down and the entire reputation of the school was at stake. The school administration consulted the building contractor about the problem and the contractor delegated the problem to the mason. The mason used the mastic sealant and mixed it with cement and applied in the hole area to make the flag pole to stand firm and then a nice coating of the mastic sealant was also placed around the pole to make sure that the flag pole stays in its place and the next day, the pole got stuck to the cement structure or the pedestal with the help of the mastic sealant.

Sealant Msds
Sealants are viscous substances that can change form to harden once applied, and is often used to prevent air, gas, dust, or water to leak from one location to another. Normally, sealants close small holes that are difficult for cement or other materials to clog. This is because sealants are insoluble, noncorrosive and it sticks easily on surfaces. There are several uses of sealants, most commonly in construction works.
