Thank you for visiting our website! On Saturday, January 3, 2009, Daniel and I had the MOST AMAZING WEDDING EVER! Daniel got his January wedding, while I got my outside wedding with *perfect* weather. We owe a tremendous amount of thanks and gratitude to our family and friends for helping making the BEST DAY OF OUR LIFE possible. Daniel completely planned our 2 week honeymoon during our engagement and kept it a total surprise to me. He told me the location of our 3 week honeymoon during our 'first dance' at the wedding. Needless to say, I was estatic and speechless! After spending the first night at the PeaBody Hotel in Little Rock, we traveled to Breckenridge, CO for a week and a half of snow skiing; then to St. Lucia Sandals Resort in the Caribbean for a week and a half at the beach and scuba diving! How could life get any sweeter? ;^)
I will graduate with my Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2009. I currently work for AllCare Pharmacy in Arkadelphia as a student pharmacist intern. Daniel flies for Pinnacle Airlines (part of NWA/Delta Connection). He just earned an upgrade to captain. We are EXTREMELY excited! :) We have 2 awesome pups ("our kids"): Sugar~Bear and Diamond~Annie (Maltese) who keep us very busy since they do 'therapy' work (at nursing homes...), training classes, etc. When we aren't at the lake/ocean, work, school, home, church, with family or our pups... we are usually traveling. I love the Lord & my family with all my heart. That's my life in a nutshell; and I love every bit of it. =) Despite all the bumps in the road, God has honestly blessed me to the fullest. I thank my family and friends for helping make Daniel and I who we are today.

It is amazing how quickly your life, which for a short time belonged entirely to us, is becoming yours. We created you, conceived you, conceived of you, named you, named ourselves for you, and made a place for you to be at home. You were held helpless and vulnerable in our arms, nurtured, fed, and loved, all as we determined and according to our wishes. You ate what we fed you, slept in the places we provided, and saw only what we showed you.
And then, like a beautiful rose gently but certainly opening its petals from within its tightly held, swaddled bud, you became yourself. You discovered your hands and feet and became for the very first time, while we were watching you, self aware. You discovered a smile, that you could listen, that you could speak, that you could see, that you could put your own hands in your mouth. We discovered that you had taste, that you had a personality, that you had character and balance of spirit, and that you could complain or be soothed. We delighted when your sophisticated mind began to unravel the wonders of choice.
So it is that we began to lose you to yourself. And while this process is gradual, and in some very tangible ways, for better or for worse, we will be inside you all your life, it is bittersweet for us to watch. During your first perfect months, while you never committed an evil action, never made us angry, never disappointed anyone, never caused hurt or sorrow, we could only begin to guess at the journey that your life would follow. It is with love and the desire for your lifelong happiness that we continue to make choices on your behalf, recognizing that our humanity and the vagaries of life will cause us to fail often and severely.
Along the way, we have occasion to watch you develop of your own and to use our powers and position to influence your development. We do not yet know for how long you will listen to us nor at what stage you will decide that our opinions are not worthy of your consideration. We hope that you will, after this eventual departure, return to us whole and complete. If so, then perhaps the following can be a guide for you while you consider how you would like to be. It is borne not only out of experience rather also from those ideals that I failed myself to attain.
We want you to be strong and self-confident. This will enable you to love others completely and to enjoy your life as you live it.
We want you to be kind. This will of course be recognized by others but you will feel an internal reward for it. We want you to be charitable.
We want you to be just and fair.
We want you to be tolerant and patient.
We want you to be resilient.
We want you to challenge yourself. We want you to ask questions of the world and not to accept what is presented to you as given. Those regimes and the dogma of the status quo that you determine to challenge should be your own.
We want you to love, for this is the greatest gift life has to offer.
We want you to laugh, for this is all-consuming and can be achieved at virtually any time.
We want you to know when to stand up and to know when to stand down. This lesson is a very difficult one to learn and requires a great deal of balance and understanding. To fail in the former will be to disappoint yourself and to feel downtrodden. To fail in the latter will make you angry and combative.
We want you to be passionate and to dream. We want you to follow your dreams passionately.
