Pursnicketies is a how-to book for modular knitters who want to decorate purses with their knitting
This website was established to market my book - Pursnicketies - A Modular Knitting Experience. The book depicts 44 colored pictures of already-made purses that I bought to redecorate. I used the following knitted modules to decorate the purses: squares, triangles, shells, pinwheels, and blossoms. Sometimes I added just one module. Sometimes I covered just the front of the purse. Sometimes I covered both the front and the back of the purses. Sometimes I completely cocooned the purse. For the knitter who doesn't want to make pockets, set in linings, put in zippers, this book is ideal. Just buy a purse that you like and decorate it with your personal modular knitting.Following each group of modules, there are line-by-line directions on how to knit and size the modules. These directions are not only useful for decorating purses, they can also be used for larger projects such as vests, sweaters, jackets, or afghans. A PDF File of the book is also available, but needs Adobe Reader 6 point or higher .
