Welcome to Bateman Photography!
Combining my love of horses and photography is a true blessing. This small business is intended to give people the gift of memories in the form of photography. I strive to show the incredible relationship you have with your horses so that you may hold that feeling in your hearts forever.
I'm a professionally trained photographer and hold a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. Since then I've worked as a newspaper reporter and photographer and freelance photographer. I continue to take photography classes to improve my skills.
But I'm not the only photography in my family. My father taught me so much about photograhy and I'm grateful for his talent and support. And while my dad never did buy me that horse I always asked for, he did buy me cameras.
And I'm quite sure that he watches in delight from heaven the work I'm doing now.
The other photographer you'll see on this site is Kendall Bateman, my daughter. She doesn't share my love of horses, but she does love photography and has an incredible eye for composition.
