The Bhakti Bar - chant - sing - dance - music - love - devotion - supporting Kirtan and Bhakti
The Bhakti Bar was founded to support Kirtan and bring light to its
devoted artists. Our mission is to cultivate and grow the Kirtan
community by providing comfortable and spirited spaces, both online and
actual, for Bhakti and Kirtan. From the singing, chanting, dancing and
music, Kirtan can lift the heart and bring great love into one's life.
The Bhakti Bar's goal is to help spread this goodness. The Bhakti Bar
has been created to serve as a center, like a hub on a wheel, radiating
and strengthening the connections of Kirtan, Bhakti, community and love.
The Bhakti Bar is an online space that will grow to offer in person
places where people can continue to gather together to learn about
Bhakti and Kirtan, deepen their own devotional practices, share their
hearts expressions, and experience joy, love, freedom and healing in a
soulful dynamic welcoming community. The Bhakti Bar online will provide
resources for learning about Bhakti and Kirtan.The Bhakti Bar online
will also produce events and gatherings as it works in partnership with
Kirtan artists, and other producers of Kirtan events. The Bhakti Bar
plans to open its first physical space in 2010--a new kind of place to
hang out, connect, socialize and share with like minded community. The
Bhakti Bar will be a place to participate and enjoy nightly Kirtans, and
other Bhakti and heart opening activities. You will be invited to take
lessons, lead Kirtans, and explore your own heart's expression.
