Skydiving Skydiving is a sport involving a skydiver jumping from an airplane and parachuting to the ground. Training is required to go solo. The jump is made from a helicopter,plane or a tombolo from 4000m or 13,000ft. Some thrill seekers attempt to skydive without a parachute whilst flying through the air they have proffesionals put on a parachute for them.
