Art to make us happy
Welcome to Dhammo,s website.. It is a gallery displaying some of the work that has been made and exhibited over the last three decades.
Fof over thirty years she has done recurring themes using the ancient traditions of tapestries and wallhangings and Tibetan thankas.. many of which incorparate very old embroideries from India dating back to the first half of the last century and various other elements that she has worked on herself.. like carved wood ,copper and enamel.
The beads have been collected from all over the world and the themes of each piece of work either tell a story or catch the mood of a tradition, bringing it forward into our lives today.
She has exhibited in London, Maastricht, Denia, Amsterdam, Javea and Ibiza and has worked on several commissions including banks and cinemas as well as private houses.. and a castle.
