Hi and welcome to my smugmug account, if you're here you probably know me and my love for sports. If you don't know me I coached youth sports for many years. With my children grown I took up photography as a way to stay involved in sports. There have been a lot of people asking about buying pictures from the games I've photographed. I never envisioned myself selling any pictures. I also never envisioned spending this much money on equipment, so in order to make available some of the pictures I've taken and perhaps defray some of the expense I've incurred I offer you this, the chapelhillbill smugmug galleries. Hi,
Thanks for visiting my site. Please take time to look around and review the images.
Just a little about me. I have enjoyed photography for most of my life. I began making pictures as a teenager documenting family, friends and events as well as occasionally dabbling creatively. As time has gone by I find myself still drawn to documenting life with still images. Photography has changed some over the years (programmed exposure, autofocus, digital) but the goal for me remains the same.

Welcome to Melanie Williams Wonderful world of Photography!
Miss Williams has been shooting pictures for Events, Books, Commercial, Print, Fashion, Weddings, Travel and Art for over 15 years. Williams grew up in Utah taking pictures of friends and family. Growing up she had a fascination with Pictures and how they could make you feel good. Williams discovered that she truly had a passion for capturing Emotion, Truth, Beauty, Life, Laughter and Love. Williams took pictures for her high school year book which she later published for her senior Graduation Thesis. At the age of 22, Williams moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue her passion for photography. After studying all the facts of Photography with Rob Lyons at LA Valley College she decided to open up her own photography business. Williams assisted and shot with many of the famous professional photographers in the Los Angeles Area. Today Williams currently lives in Studio City where she enjoys shooting Models, Actors, Bands, Families, Weddings, Events, Cities, Nature and Art.
