Welcome and thanks for stopping by.
My name is Deborah Edwards-Onoro and I live in Michigan. I've been taking photos for more than a decade of sports events, Habitat for Humanity activities, and nature. My photos have been published in local newspapers, non-profit, small business, and school district websites, a social studies textbook in Texas, and several yearbooks.
I started with disposable cameras and scanning photos. Bought my first digital camera in 2000 (Canon G1), graduated to the Canon G3 a couple years later, and moved to the Canon Digital Rebel series which I've used for the past few years.
After being asked by parents, friends, and family members to "please email me the photos", I finally decided to publish the photos on SmugMug in May 2009. I'll slowly be adding images throughout the year. I'll be adding some photos from the past, as well as new photos.

un punto di vista sul fotoreportage di eventi come matrimonio, anniversari e cerimonie in generale che condivido pienamente
Il compito del fotografo di matrimonio è quello di documentare in modo spontaneo ciò che avviene in tempo reale davanti a sé, per questo la sua presenza dovrebbe essere discreta per poter passare il più possibile inosservato; Il fotoreporter di matrimonio “ cè, ma non si vede”questo il primo concetto fondamentale.
La fotografia di cerimonia sta cambiando, le immagini più rappresentative che raggiungono le persone sono quelle più spontanee ed emozionali, in una parola “vere”; Il compito del fotoreporter di matrimonio é quello di fotografare ciò che accade con una personale interpretazione racchiudendo spesso anche solo in un immagine significati più profondi come un particolare momento, un gesto, un’azione, una emozione che altrimenti andrebbero perduti. Immagini insomma, capaci di far rivivere le stesse emozioni anche con il trascorrere del tempo.
Le persone fotografate non dovrebbero essere coinvolte in questa documentazione ma lasciate del tutto naturali nel loro spazio mentre vivono spontaneamente quel particolare momento.
La posa e il contatto con il fotografo e quindi con la fotocamera non dovrebbero mai esserci proprio per non spezzare questo ordine temporale di ciò che sta accadendo.
Le immagini scattate diventano solo dei “frame” spontanei che congelano un istante, immagini a volte uniche e irripetibili che catturano l’attenzione e trasmettono un significato.
Fotografare una situazione senza interrompere il movimento e l’ordine naturale delle cose proprio per mantenere puro il concetto di realismo del soggetto o della scena fotografata che altrimenti risulterebbero innaturali e costruite.
Le migliori esperienze , le emozioni, le espressioni in qualunque forma vengano manifestate devono essere assolutamente spontanee per rivelarsi più vere.
