I am a photographer specializing in portraits of children, pets, families and seniors, as well as animals and nature.
I have been a professional photographer for eleven years and shoot in a realistic, natural, light-filled style.
I love photography, everything from capturing just the right moment to seeing a completed print fascinates me. I fell in love with digital cameras several years ago and have never looked back.
I have shot numerous photos of children, families and pets throughout the last eleven years. I am also frequently photographing wildlife, flowers, water and numerous other things as you will be able to see from the photos exhibited on these pages.
Originally I am from Russia but currently live in beautiful, scenic Vermont. I am drawn to images of animals, nature and birds bathed in sunlight and shadows. I also love to capture the every day unposed moments...a dog resting at its owners feet, a silent cat observing birds, a playful foal, a father and infant son asleep together.
In family and especially children's photo shoots I am drawn to outdoor light; combining people and nature into one beautiful photo.

Welcome, to a place where a moment's image is displayed to impact your human nature.
Not unlike the ocean waves echoed in one's being long after the tide has sculpted passing footprints into the same meaning, I am hopeful that these moments will stay with you as well.
Respecting those pioneer's and mentors of the static image is axiom to learning. From the tin type through to video capture, using one's "eye" to render or restate these processes escapes no photographer fostering a body of work.
In pursuing that magic moment of light, these lessons converge whenever a special image is gathered. Simply stated, a capture that influences the viewer long after the "shot" is taken, is never rooted in cliche.
In these galleries, my goal is to share the "moment", time, place, light and inspiration, plus a little provenance where it matters.
With tools in hand, through effort and fiat, these images are defined and crafted into what time and cultures call works of art.
As to what inspires any artist, dancer, writer, or musician that answer is simple; inspiration gives wing to man's ideas by the immutable Grace of the Creator.

I enjoy taking photos of family, friends, events and interesting compositions.
My cameras of choice are Nikon D2X, D3 and D700 and Canon G9.
I use a full range of lenses: Fish Eye, wide angle, standard, portrait, telephoto and telephoto zooms.
I prefer natural lighting to flash.
I am interested in macro and close crop photos as well as extreme depth of field landscapes.
