GLEN JONES
I was first introduced to photography as a young boy growing up in Montreal. My father was a Director Cameraman for the National Film Board. His global adventures and nomadic lifestyle fascinated me but it wasn’t until the early 80’s that I decided to pursue photography as a career. I attended Sheridan College, joined several camera guilds and enjoyed many photographic seminars. In the beginning many of Canada’s top photographers taught and inspired me to shoot photojournalism and later I developed a creative style that leaned towards Fine Art Photography. My first success came in the mid eighties when I won top honours at the Air Canada Canadian National Photographic Awards, Best of Show at the Ontario Provincial Photographic Competitions and then several years later receiving the Fuji Canada’s Photographic Award of Excellence. Several months after that I decided to turn professional.
My first break came when I was contracted by a publishing company in North Ridge California. They were producing a series of hard covered books on Canadian cities. I submitted a portfolio of my work and was fortunate enough to get the job. This led to other opportunities where I was offered new assignments by a variety of clients taking me to twelve countries as a freelance professional. To date I have photographed in thirty six countries around the world. My work has appeared in art, travel, historical, photographic and sport magazines. Along with corporate publications and computer software programs internationally.
In 2001, I went into partnership and founded Studio – 3 in Burlington Ont. The gallery does not show the everyday stock type images. Instead I display a collection of individually selected signed Limited Edition Fine Art Prints. In turn, the gilicee prints are printed on archival inks and papers that gives the artwork an original appearance to the viewer for over seventy years.
My clients include, Corporations, Interior Designers, Fine Art Collectors and Art Galleries.
FRED OLIVER
Fred Oliver studied photography at Ryerson College in Toronto in the late 70’s. He is one of the founding members of the Latow Photographers Guild. The word Latow is a aboriginal word meaning - Beam of Light.
An avid photographer for more than thirty five years, Fred realized early in his photographic career that it was the faces of culture that he loved the most. As an award winning photographer
he has traveled extensively in pursuit of this passion capturing a wide pallette of subject matter ranging from architecture to wildlife from abstract to pictorial. His images have been published in travel magazines, calenders, book publishers and by national advertising agencies .
Several years ago, Fred decided to partner with two other photographers and started up a Fine Art Photography gallery called Studio-3 , in Burlington. He sells series of limited edition fine art prints which are produced using archival inks and papers. His work is sold in galleries throughout southwestern Ontario.

The most recent trip included a six (6) day trek to Ciudad Perdida in Colombia, home of the indengenous Tairona people. After Colombia, I ventured over to the island of Nusatupo, which is part of the San Blas Islands of Panama. The Kuna Yala people live in the San Blas Islands.
