The dark side of the cell
The dark side of the cell is an audio-visual experience that can be described as a concert-installation hybrid treating one of the most interesting recent discoveries in nano-biotechnology: cellular sounds. The dark side of the cell is the first concert ever to utilize cell sounds, and to present imagery of these musical cells as well. This event is a collaborative effort of the media artist Anne Niemetz, and the nano-scientist Andrew Pelling, who teamed up to combine their expertise in sonocytology, sound and installation design.
