This is not a commercial site. This is a 'not-for-profit' site for the sole purpose of sharing High Res image files with friends and family. David Lipp is a professional photographer for the N.D. Air National Guard and only does other projects for the enjoyment of his interest in photography - so that he may share it with others.
David Lipp, a native of Fargo, N.D., began pursuing his interest in art and photography at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, Minn. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Art in 1988. He was hired as a photographer by the North Dakota Air National Guard (NDANG) as a traditional guardsman in 1989 and began working full-time as the Multimedia Manager for the North Dakota Air National Guard in 2003.
Over the years David has had the opportunity to photograph three U.S. Presidents and to travel with the NDANG to dramatic locations for video and photography including Accra, Ghana (Africa); the Mississippi gulf coast after Hurricane Katrina; Northwood N.D. after an F4 tornado Aug. 25, 2007; and the back seat of an F-16 B-model aircraft! Some of these photos have earned Military recognition including several first place winning photos in Air Force and Air National Guard media and photo contests. His photos and articles have appeared in places like the front page of USA Today, The On-Guard, Air Force Times, GX Magazine, and Airman Magazine, along with monthly publications in the award winning NDANG Jet Letter.
His interests in sports and the outdoors have always been a driving force in his art and photography with wildlife and scenic photos appearing many times in publications like the North Dakota Outdoors Calendar and North Dakota Horizons Magazine and Calendar as well as National outdoors Publications like Canoe and Kayak.
His interest in wildlife has carried over into art with prize winning drawings and paintings rounding out his artistic abilities.
