Sue Lou presents fine handcrafted glassware. Her fine art is considered both functional and aesthetically pleasing to the senses. Each piece is handcraft with the love and care that only a fine artist can offer. Sue's pieces are not mass produced and each one is a unique creation that will surely be appreciated by anyone that looks upon the flowing glass elements. Sue comes from an artistic family and after having tried painting and drawing she realized this was not her niche. Her mother is a well know porcelain artist and when she gave Sue her old kiln and she thought she would try pottery. Sue didn't know where to start but having seen a T.V. show on fused glass, she decided to give it a try. With a lot of research and trial and error Sue was having fun and created some unique designs. She uses Bullyeye 90 c.o.e., System 96 c.o.e, Effetre 104 c.o.e with millefiori. She fuses then slumps, bowls, plates, trays, business card holders, wall art, soap dishes and vases.
