Professor Ashby is a thorough and dedicated scientist with a deep belief in
God. He has made an in-depth study of the Creation/Evolution controversy. As
it seems to be understood currently, Darwin’s theory of evolution purports that
life developed without divine guidance. However, this theory is based upon very
little scientific data and an enormous amount of pure speculation. Many
scientists freely admit this, yet many others (including many educational and
other groups) seem to accept the theory as dogma. Professor Ashby has pointed
out the great improbability of much of the evolutionary speculation, and asks
his readers to recognize that God’s “intelligent design” of life is the most
logical reason for our existence.
