Hope Church started as a small group of believers in San Mateo, California who have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We felt burdened by the Lord to live out the good news of Jesus within and among the people of San Mateo. Hope Church of San Mateo is here to bring honor and fame to the name of Jesus in all we do.
We believe the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. It is our conviction that the Gospel of Jesus transcends all culture, race and creed, and it is our desire that the people of San Mateo come face to face with the reality that God sent his Son to save sinners.
We recognize that the Lord has bestowed on us this ministry as a gift of grace. We seek to proclaim the Gospel to all from a heart of love, and a life of service, understanding full well, that our lives are the tangible evidence of the transforming power of the Gospel. Our words mean nothing if our lives do not reflect what we proclaim.
