Sand Therapy
Sand Therapy:Sand therapy, also known as sandplay, sandtray therapy, or the World Technique, is a nonverbal, ostensibly psychotherapeutic tool originated by pediatrician Margaret Lowenfeld in the 1920s in London, England.
Sand therapy involves clients' using sand and water in a tray that contains miniatures or toys. Proponents believe that sand therapy clients begin to explore a new realm of inner wisdom and may become aware of deep memories of past traumas.
