Emenda Sembiring was born in Medan, North Sumatra. In April 1998 she was graduate from Bandung Institute of Technology(ITB). It was her Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering. After graduate she works as assistant lecturer and researcher in solid and hazardous wastes laboratory in Environmental Engineering , ITB. she pursued her master degree in Industrial engineering at Bandung Institute of technology in 1999. she was graduate on October 2001. she learns much more about managing. Since January 2002, she pursues her second master degree in University of Melbourne, Australia.she studied at International Development and Technology Centre, Civil and Environmental Engineering. she choosed this second master degree because it will help her to focus on her field of interest in environmental engineering. she finished this study in the end of 2003. Now, she comes back again to Bandung and she is working as lecturer and researcher in Environmental Engineering Department, ITB.
