CTEC - Clinical Tissue Engineering Center
The Clinical Tissue Engineering Center (CTEC) was established in 2005 by the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, and University Hospitals Cleveland, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Development. The CTEC will pair leading scientists and clinical faculty working to develop tissue engineering, cellular therapies, imaging and biomaterials technologies to treat human disorders. CTEC will enable cutting-edge basic and clinical research to be performed across disciplines, allowing tissue engineering and cellular and regenerative therapies to be developed and swiftly evaluated in a clinical setting and to be translated into clinical products in partnership with commercial collaborators.
