This site was created for both teachers and students, it addresses the technology and society section of the technology syllabus for both junior certificate and leaving certificate students. It covers a range of issues including; technology and the environment, the technology gap, global warming, renewable energies, developing worlds, the effect of technology on developing worlds, technological developments, and the implication of technology on society, environment and economy. The site contains a teachers section that hosts a range of students centred classroom activities and resources to accompany the website, these activities come complete with all necessary print outs and power points and will be a valuable teaching aid to all technology teachers.
