Girl Talk Band is a long standing Bay Area California music group led by guitarist, Valerie Bach. Their sound has developed over the years into an exotic blend of bluesy latin-feel world jazz. Guitarist & cavaquinho player, Valerie Bach, brings her Sephardic and 60's rock influences into the mix, accompanied by the driving bass grooves of Jennifer Martin, and the eclectic middle eastern rhythms of hand percussionist Katja Cooper, as well as occasional special guests. Recently, Laura Boytz, cellist, has contributed a soulful voice that will bounce your heart up & down. This dreamy, trippy music is really off the beaten tracks!
Girl Talk Band is available for events as a duet, trio, or quartet. They have years of experience performing for all kinds of events weddings, corporate, festivals, clubs, etc.
