In Pursuit of Silence
If so many people yearn for silence, why is there so little of it in our world today? And if so many people dislike noise, why is there so much of it—and why is much of that noise being made by the same people who declare they hate noise? By solving this puzzle, I hoped to discover how people might be inspired to introduce more silence into everyday life.
