Currently I work as a contract Web and Graphic Design Artist in the heart of downtown Kansas City. This part-time position was obtained following graduation and two Web Design internships coming to a close. Other work experience includes a Graphic Design internship that later led to a part-time position working on catalogs and a Production Artist position working on graphics for garment designs. My most recent academic achievements include an Associates of Applied Science in Interactive Media, as well as a Multimedia Design Certificate from Johnson County Community College in 2010. A Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design was earned in 2006 from Kansas State University and in 2003 an Associate of Arts Degree was earned. In 2008 I received a student ADDY award for illustration work done as a student at Johnson County Community College. The illustration of a Mach 1 Mustang involved over 28 hours of work and included over 400 elements. The design was completed using Adobe Illustrator. At this current time, I am seeking a full-time position as a Web and Graphic Design Artist in the Kansas City Area as I continue to work as a contract artist. I am eager to take on new challenging roles and apply my training, as well as education in the industry on a daily basis.
