Susan Lamb Cook
Cellist Susan Lamb Cook is highly regarded as both soloist and chamber musician. Known for her commitment to excellence and education, she is much sought after as performer, teacher, master clinician, adjudicator and chamber music coach. Currently Artist Affiliate in cello and chamber music at the University of California, Davis, Susan Lamb Cook holds degrees from the University of Iowa and the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria. She performs regularly with the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sacramento Opera, the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra, and is a member of the Gold Coast Trio with violinist Rachel Vetter Huang and pianist Hao Huang. Her book Guide to Teaching Strings is published by McGraw-Hill Higher Education.
