During a trip to China in 2010, PearlsRock owner and designer Kimberly Wexler found inspiration and decided to bring it back to the United States. Kimberly designs her collections to bring out the natural vibrancy of their materials and to imbue each piece with a personality of its own. Combining the rich colors of precious stones with the delicate beauty of pearls, PearlsRock offers jewelry that combines classic and modern looks to compliment any attire. Kimberly is also happy to sit down with clients to arrange for custom jewelry to match specific wardrobes. Before pearls are draped beautifully around a woman's neck, they make an incredible journey. As minerals gather inside of a clam at the bottom of the sea, pressure transforms those materials into pearls--each with a unique appearance: some are perfectly round, but others are oval or pockmarked; some are white, but pearls exist in many colors depending on the different minerals and coral reefs that surround them. Finally, divers draw them out of the water and bring them to jewelers who, with care, precision, and class, assemble each necklace, bracelet, or set of earrings to fit its wearer.
