Tony Tye - Welcome
Tony is based in the Boston, Massachusetts, USA area. He originally trained in computer science, earning a BSc, MSc and PhD in computation. He worked in the software design industry for over 15 years before switching to teaching dance as co-owner of Hop to the Beat Dance Studio. He has been designing his own web sites since 1996 and has recently also designed sites for other businesses. The design philosophy used is: design web sites which are efficient to load even for people with slow modems; WEB sites that display neatly on various screen sizes; an emphasis on clear, consistent organization and presentation of information. Allowing first time customers who know little about the business to find information, while also providing concise details for repeat customers; design sites that are simple, making it viable for a business to maintain daily updating of their own web site with little knowledge of WEB design.
