Cold Kenya filmmakers - DIRECTOR/WRITER Laurence Walsh studied film and graduated from the New York University SCPS program in 2001. Prior to that, he worked in the corporate world for Price Waterhouse and ABN Amro Bank as an investment banker. Since 2001, he has completed six short films and his last film, Michels Plague, won Best Short Film at the Ohio Independent Film Festival in Cleveland. Cold Kenya is his first foreign 35mm film.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY Tomasz Augustynek. Born on October 17th, 1977 in Krakow. In 2001 he graduated from Cinematography Department of Film and Television School (US WRiTV) in Katowice, Poland. As a director of photography he has to his credit many short feature films, documentaries, music videos and over 100 commercials produced by polish and foreign companies.
PRODUCER Michal Wuczynski studied and earned his undergraduate degree from Szkola Glowna Handlowa in Warsaw and studied economics At Erasmus University in Rotterdam and film in Camerimage Film School in Torun. Prior to 2004, he worked as a financial advisor on corporate mergers & acquisitions. He has made numerous short films and published photography in the magazine Trzaskopismo. Cold Kenya is his first film where he is acting as both executive producer and producer.
EDITOR Jaroslaw Barzan has been working in television and film since 1997, and has become one of the top award winning young editors in Poland. He has edited such major feature films as Pitbull (2005), Trzeci (2004), Warszawa (2003), Sukces (2003), Cialo (2003) and Pol Serio (2000). His work on music videos has won awards at the Yach music video festival, and he was honored with the National Polish Film Award, Orzel in 2006 for Pitbull and awards at the FPFF in Gdynia for Warszawa in 2003 and for Pol Serio in 2000.
SOUND EDITING Tomasz Sikora has acted as sound engineer, sound designer and composer on numerous film productions including Warszawa, (Golden Lion Gdynia 2004 Film Festival) and Magnet-Man, (Best Visionary Short Tribeca Film Film Festival 2002). He also has worked on documentaries, television, advertisements and video games. He has his own studio, publishing house and radio company called Hermetic Garage www.HermeticGarage.com

Cold Kenya cast - MAREK WŁODARCZYK Marek Wlodarczyk studied acting at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Over his career in theatre, he has performed at the Scena Prezentacje Theatre in Warsaw, the J. Osterwa Theatre in Lublin in plays such as Whos Afraid of Virginia Wolf and Patrick Marbers Closer. His television work includes roles in Zmierzch Dlugiego Dnia on Teatr Telewizji and Miasteczko on TVN television. He currently resides in Warsaw and enjoys spending time with his young son Michal.
JOANNA KORONIEWSKA Joanna Koroniewska studied acting at the Lodz Film School. She currently can be seen on M Jak Milosc, which is Polands top rated television serial and is also broadcast in the United States in Chicago. Her recent film work includes the lead role in Mateusz Dymeks Zwierze Powierzchni, an award winning film which qualified for the The Polish Independent Cinema Competition at the 2003 Gdynia Film Festival. Her recent voice work includes the Polish voice over for Lindsay Lohan in Herbie Fully Loaded and the main role on Polish Radio Theatre in The Martydom of Joan of Arc. She also has performed at Teatr Bajka and Teatr Comedia in Warsaw.
MAGDALENA POPŁAWSKA Magda Poplawska studied acting at PWST in Krakow, Poland graduating in 1999. During her studies she was granted a scholarship to study at the Instiuto del Teatro in Barcelona for her second year and was invited to work with Teatr Rozmaitosci in the Teren Warszawa Project during her senior year. She has been in numerous theatre productions having worked with the likes of Redbad Klijnstra, Grażyna Kania, Łukasz Kos, Agnieszka Glinska, Aleksandra Konieczna and Marek Kalita. Her film work includes films with Przemyslaw Wojcieszek (Doskonale Popoludnie), and Jacek Borcuch (Mrok). She currently is a member of the Supermarket Artistic Group working on Historia Przypadku by Aba Morgan directed by Redbad Klijnstra.
BORYS SZYC Borys Szyc is one of the top young actors in Poland today with numerous film and television projects to his name. He has starred in such films as Vinci (2004), Pręgi (2004), Oficer (2004-2005), Symetria (2003) and Defekt (2003). He has won the National Polish Film Award Orzel for Best Actor for Symetria (2005), and was nominated for an Orzel for Best Supporting Actor in 2004. He also won the Zbyszek Cybulski Publicity Award in 2005, and was an honorable mention at the International Mystery Festival Noir in 2004 for his work in Vinci.
RAFAŁ MAĆKOWIAK Rafal Mackowiak studied acting and graduated from the Akademia Teatralna in Warsaw in 1999. He is one of the most recognizable actors of his generation staring in such films as Your Name is Justine (2005), Co Slonko Widzialo (2004), W Dol Kolorowym Wzgorzem (2004), Glosniej od Bomb (2000), Billboard (1998), and Amok (1998).
