The Unexpected Portrait, candidly capturing life.
Pictures can be anything. Photography encompasses such a diverse collection of images because any image taken with a camera is first, before any other iteration, a photograph. To me, photos speak a language all their own, sometimes capturing a stunning moment of artistic composition, other times a unique moment of personal expression and - - - in the best circumstances, both. If a photographic image moves you, then, to me, it is successful. A good picture makes you feel and a good photographer begins every moment captured by feeling it. In modern image making, there is a place for raw images, images with special effects and images that have been artistically designed.
My Take - - on people, families, pets, special occasions, life, and everything in between, strives to be a fulfilling collection of these sorts of memorable images, capturing as many exciting, delightful, introspective, silly and/or unique moments as can be seen with my eyes though the lens in as many ways as I can see them. Some images are raw and unaltered. Others inspire me to play with effects, overlays and sometimes even color and texture. Hopefully, in all the images youâll find a mood reflected.
