Bowen Architecture
Bowen Architecture is a 16 year old practice that has maintained a consistent design philosophy based on the convergence of design excellence with a strong respect for the environmental implications of the built environment. The wide range of projects executed by the practice is conceptually compelling and exquisitely resolved. A hallmark of the practice is the ability to bring clarity to a body of work spanning a diversity of building types and scope. Recently, Bowen Architecture won an International Design Competition organized by the National Committee on Design and the National Committee on the Environment of the American Institute of Architects for a house for an ecologist at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown West Virginia.
