Formula Vee's are controlled regulation race cars designed to emphasise driver ability rather than engineering skill or budget. As a result it is the entry step into car racing after karting. A level playing field of machinery, fierce competition and spirited drivers produce close racing that is at an affordable cost to the average wage earner. Drivers in the Queensland State Championship come from all walks of life and range in age from up-and-coming young-guns to gentlemen racers with decades of club membership.
