Gros Ventre Pictures: About
Ryan was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming and began shooting and editing in high school. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, with an emphasis in multi-production from the University of Sioux Falls, where he gained great experience on commercials, promo ads, and national spots, editing and lighting.
He moved to Los Angeles in February 2004, and began working in television and film, as an electrician (set lighting) and over the years, became a very qualified gaffer. In 2006, he co-produced the feature documentary “Outspoken,” which he edited, and acted as the post-production supervisor. “Outspoken” played at multiple domestic film festivals. Ryan now concentrates the majority of his time producing, directing, and editing in all genres.
Gros Ventre Pictures is slowly growing and producing quality work, in many areas, such as, music videos, short films, feature length documentaries, and beginning 2011 feature films.
